“Love Chippewa” is the new name for our Free Clinic, which will be held at Parkview Elementary School. Alongside 11 other congregations we will serve lower income “Guests of Honor” in the provision of free medical services, haircuts, family portraits, groceries, and so much more. Landmark people are important to guide those volunteering for the first time. Set up will be from 5:30 – 9:00 on Friday evening, Oct 4. We are asking that all volunteers arrive at the school at 8:00 Saturday morning for a training session and to learn the layout of the service areas. You may sign up to help at the table in the fellowship area or at www.LoveChippewa.org.

We are excited to host Raed Makhouli at Landmark to guide us on a visual tour of Israel focusing on the places where Jesus walked. Raed lives in Galilee where he works as a registered tour guide with the Israeli Ministry of Tourism. There is no charge for attending, but we will take a freewill offering to support Raed. Don’t miss out on this special opportunity right here at our church!

The sun is warm again, birds are singing, and green is beginning to pop up all around us, which can only mean one thing.....it’s almost time for VBS!!! There are still several spots that need volunteers including leading the games, leading the Bible story lesson each night, and several crew leader positions. Even though we will pretend to be on a deserted island, none of these jobs will be done in isolation and everyone will have plenty of support and help throughout the week! If you would like to help out in any way or are unsure of what each job entails, please check out the VBS display in the fellowship area and read through the leader description page - or just ask Melyssa! We hope to see you there!!
Please join us at Parkview Elementary School from 9 to Noon on Saturday, May 5, to package meals for our school district’s weekend meal program. Landmark Christian Church is partnering with the Chippewa Falls Mission Coalition to package 100,000 meals. Each nutritional meal costs about 15 cents, 216 meals fit into one box at a cost of $33.00.
We are hoping that you would be willing to contribute $33.00 and package a box of meals with us on May 5. Or maybe you are willing to contribute funds so someone else can package a box. We also need people to help behind the scenes with registration, taping boxes, refilling ingredient containers, set up, take down, and equipment clean up.
There are sign-up sheets on the welcome booth - please fill one out and leave it in the basket. You can also register online: www.Heaven2Earth.54729.com
